The scary part is, too, Cam Newton is still a beast so far.
Griffin will come in and find more success than Sam Bradford or any of the other recent top QB picks, in my opinion.
I wish we could get him.
What about Russell Wilson: 1,391 passing yards, 74.8 percent completions, 13 touchdowns and one interception, plus 140 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
I wish we could get RG III as well.
Wilson is an unbelievable college QB. He's over 70% completions and 12 YPA for the season. Rocket arm. Extremely athletic. Unfortunately, he's only 5'11".
Russell Wilson is NFL ready too.
There are a lot of QBs coming out this year potentially that can help teams - Luck, Griffin, Barkley, Foles, Wilson.
I'd be happy with any of those guys. Wanted Andy Dalton, but oh well.
Drew Brees is 5'11".
RG III is growing on me but I'm not completely on his wagon yet.
Given how things are going...this might be the Skins next QB. I highly doubt they will be in the LJB Sweepstakes.
RGIII is a VERY nice QB prospect... No real weaknesses, I like his build too.
Drew Brees is every bit of 6'1"....
Mike vick is 6 feet.
Brees is 6 feet too
What does a inch or two make a difference for.
Agree with your point about an inch or two but I know Drew Brees is taller than 5'11"....
My only concern about Wilson, he didn't live up to expectations at NC State. I recall the Wilson for Heisman campaign two seasons ago and he just did not get it done. The obvious, is Wisconsin has a better team than the NC State, but Wilson could benefit from the rising tide carries all sails mentality.
I love Wilson. He's a Virginia boy who wanted desperately to go to UVA, but who was turned away by Al Groh because Groh is an idiot. He has all the tools you look for in an NFL QB, and I mean all of them...except he's less than six feet tall.
Wilson will get drafted, and he may set the league on fire. But I don't think anyone can deny that a 5'11" QB will have issues seeing the field that a taller player would not.
There are exceptions to every rule. Vick and Brees are two, and Wilson may be one of them as well. He's also at least an inch shorter than they are. But I'm rooting for the guy. I hope he makes it big-time and does it in Dallas. I'm just not sure how high a draft pick I'm willing to spend on the experiment.
Vick isn't a good QB.
I think Vick's an above average QB, but I also think 1) he's vastly overrated, and 2) Philly will regret giving him a big contract.
Which is actually why after the emergence of RG3 as a great passer and decision maker with the ball downfield pundits have actually begun to compare him to Steve Young.
Sadly he still plays for Baylor.
Kansas freakin State...
That is all.....
