Orton, what? I will say I find myself disliking most of these players.

For the life of me, I'll never understand the hatred towards Romo. If people want to say he's a lousy QB, ok.

But there is a visceral hate against him that I just don't understand and never have. He's never done anything negative to anybody as far as I know.

It's more hating on the team & that reflecting on Tony I think.

OK but Staubach and Aikman were never hated in this way. Maybe attention was drawn away from Aikman because of Micheal Irvin, but from what I can tell Staubach and Aikman were pretty well respected.

Maybe Romo actually has to win something to turn things around.

Surprised the rapist isn't on there.

People love to hate Tony for whatever reason. And how can people dislike Orton? What has he ever done to anybody?

That was a whole different era & way before my time so I don't know.

I just think in general if you hate the team you get on hating Tony. I think Jerry is league wide disliked..too much Jerry. I don't like the man myself but we're stuck.

IMO if Aikman and Irvin played today they would be on the list. A lot of smack was talked about Troy towards the end saying he was a system QB and could not put the numbers. Of course that was not the truth. We know why Mike would be on the list :)

What kind of world do we live in when people like Quinn, Romo, Sanchez and Orton make the list meanwhile the mad rapist in Pittsburgh gets a pass???

    You are wrong.
    Especially regarding Staubach.

It was totally unwarranted, but outside of Cowboy-land, people really hated Roger. He was here when that "America's Team" and "Captain America" stuff started. I can't begin to describe how much other fans hated that stuff. I lived in three other NFL markets...this is no bs.
The hatred from other team's fans ran VERY deep.
He was considered a nerd, dork who wore his pants too high, goody two shoes, phoney...everything under the sun.
In reality, not unlike Romo, he was a humble and likeable person according to those who really knew him.
