Four year rookie contract, might be the end of the Witten era, but the man is super human and I wouldn't write him off.

Agree wih everything except this part.. Austin is a damn good reciever with 1000 yrds last year. You think T.Will will be a 1000 yd reciever next season??

Maybe in year 2, but I'd be really impressed if he had 1,000 in his rookie year. Miles has an advantage because he knows Romo, the NFL and the system.

Maybe. Either way, I think there is a good chance Austin is traded or cut next season for cap purposes.

I calculated it based on the difference between the 10-yard and 20-yard times.

Lot's of folks panned this pick...

The kid is at least showing some potential.

Witten was talking about downfield and second level blocking. Not when the TE is helping out the tackle. That is real blocking. Witten is decent there but not great. That was where the Tard excelled

They did, though, in fairness, I think most were panning his position more than him as a player. Even if they said otherwise at the time.

Miles Austin is one of the most injury prone players we have. Dez Bryant is one of the most aggressive all out style players we have. If theres one backup im not worried about getting time, its Williams. I know he'll get reps.

Harris certainly earned the #3 spot last season. But yeah, considering the history of Austin and Bryant, Williams will no doubt see the field. While those guys are healthy, though, Williams will be a game day decision for the top 47 since he has no role on ST's and will be sitting out most offensive plays.
