Would hate to have you on my side, you surrender way too quickly. Cowboys 0-1?
A rare home game after turkey day.
Better than playing atl which has easily the best offense. The Giants o was trash last year.
Does that mean the Chargers are the Turkey Day game?
I'm so sick of this, not just opening with the Giants but any divisional rival. I don't mind the last game being against a division opponent but I think they should wait at least 3-4 weeks from opening day to schedule another NFCE team so it gives both teams a chance to iron out the kinks.
Perfect opponent for dak.. the one team he looked bad against. If he comes out and wins people will start to shake in their boots. They wont say anything but they'll hide behind their phones a little longer.
It's like a tradition
So we are doing that 3 games in 10 days crap again.
Shameful----TNF has to get their Cowboys game so our team suffers.
Fwiw we are 3-0 in such games.
We seemed beat playing the Vikings, I believe it had a little to do with our pathetic performance against the Giants as well. Teams need a routine, the NFL is so money hungry and the Cowboys are their only guaranteed huge ratings so our team doesn't get the luxury of a routine.
Agreed. This matchup to start our season has grown stale, IMO.
Will keep happening until they get rid of tnf altogether.
*edit* didn't mean to quote you but the person you quoted.
We shouldn't open against the same opponent every year. Why not open against Washington?
NYC is a bigger market. I would assume the ratings may be a tick higher for a Dallas/NYG game over a Dallas/Wash
I believe I read somewhere that the players hate the TNF games, and that will be a topic of discussion when the next CBA comes up. Not sure, but I thought i remember hearing that.
on the road for week 17 again.
So it's now three straight years we are starting the season playing divisional opponents the first two weeks.
I broke this news last week.
I prefer likes over props.
