I have been saying I expect Miami to be the team but it sounds like Peyton may want to return to the state of his college days to end his illustrious career.

He'll look weird in whatever uniform he's wearing next year.

I wouldnt choose Tennessee over Denver, though.

Go back to the state he went to college in AND get to stick it (maybe) to the team that cut him twice a year. I guess I can see the incentive to do that.

Huge incentive. And they have a decent offensive line and Chris Johnson.

Why not choose the Texans over the Titans if he wanted to stick it to the Colts?

Because they are likely 1 year wonders.

With Wayne and Clark joining him, Tenn. could have quite the offense.

Oh that'd be fun if they give him some weapons. Britt is a talent if he's recovered physically and settles down off the field. Their other receivers are nothing special but if Clark & Wayne can be added with reasonable deals, yeah, could be fun.

    Kenny Britt to boot.

He also nows that division in and out.

Hmmm...get Manning...bring in Wayne and Clark to add to Johnson and Britt? That's a pretty dang good offense right there.

You think they cut Hasselbeck if this happens? He would be awesome to bring in as a backup. Maybe a bit too pricey, though.

I thought the Dolphins were a favorite to get him, too, but it looks like they are giving up on that with the Marshall trade.

Could be just the opposite. Marshall is not a character guy. Dolphins may have traded him to show Manning they are serious. And they can go get Reggie Wayne, and maybe Dallas Clark.

Possible, but I think a malcontent WR would shut up pretty quickly when he has one of the all-time greats throwing him the ball. But, yeah, if Manning said "Get rid of this guy and I'll think about it," then they should have pulled the trigger in a heartbeat.

I think Marshal is a head case - more than just malcontent. I think he has some emotional/mental health issues. Who knows what you ever get with some of these trouble guys.

    Dolphins have probably had enuff.
