With the Dallas Cowboys 1-6 and facing accusations that they've quit, fans are calling for the head of coach Wade Phillips.

One problem: Owner Jerry Jones won't give it to them.

Asked Friday by Dallas radio station KRLD-FM if Phillips would finish the season, Jones replied, “Yes.”

In a recent poll taken by the Dallas Morning News' website, 82 percent of voters wanted Phillips fired. The 63-year-old coach has been under siege for guiding a team many picked to reach the Super Bowl into the cellar of the NFC East.

But that didn't stop Jones from reiterating his belief that a midseason coaching change probably wouldn't spark a turnaround.

It may not spark a turnaround, but may ignite an era of respectability within the Franchise. IMO, Fans are frustrated by constant turmoil of this organization.

While this Franchise continues to sink to new 16 year lows, Jerry Jones Cowboys, (they are his team..make no bones about it) continues to be the example of WHAT NOT TO DO as an NFL organization.
