I'd consider that very questionable.
I wasn't here then, but I would guess many were saying his offense was predictable, vanilla, etc.
What's it going to take to make everyone here realize it's not the OC, the HC, or the QB...it's the guy sitting up in the owner's box.
Truer words have never been spoken.
QFT, but I'd still like to have someone of his caliber here again even, if the meddling continues.
Or maybe it was because Payton had Quincy Carter, Vinny Testaverde, Drew Henson and Drew Bledsoe at QB for the majority of his time in Dallas.
Funny I mentioned this a few weeks ago. That no way Payton comes back here to work for Jerry. And some said, that he does not have any problems with Jerry. This told me all I needed to know and pretty much knew. No way does anyone come back to work for Jerry.
Sure, but I also remember reading somewhere that Sean Payton is the reason why Tony Romo is even here.
Worst idea yet.

Sean Payton said there have been 48 media requests to come out and film the sixth-grade team he's helping coach in Argyle, Texas.
I wonder if while he breaks down the film, he's also reviewing the sales receipts from the new Victoria's Secret store in the stadium?
Hey, like Jerry always says "because of the unique way the Cowboys are structured..." Unique indeed and the results have been quite unique.
winner winner chicken dinner.
This is very true. Once Payton got the job with the Saints in early 07', he tried to trade a 3rd round pick for Romo.
......your saying there's a CHANCE?! :lmao:
The value of Sean Payton stock has gone up in NO with the developments on the field.....no way that NO lets Payton get away without a mega-size contract. And I would think that Payton is smart enough not to get within 50 feet of Jerry at anytime. Maybe even get a restraining order against Jerry just in case.
But I would agree that he would be what ails this team.
