Sham: Could Cowboys have 2nd round surprise in store? 'Don't forget the tight ends'
Cowboys radio voice Brad Sham answered reader questions during a live chat Tuesday. Here are some highlights:

Who or what do you see the cowboys targeting with the second pick? Boise has a LB who has potential and could slide to us.
Brad Sham: You're talking about Shea McClellin, and yes, he's an excellent prospect. I think in the 2d round you should still take the best player available. If they take Barron and McClellin is there in the 2nd, that make sense. So does an interior o-lineman or a tight end. Don't forget the tight ends, now.

In your many years with the team, do you think they've been more popular? Even without winning, it seems they are more a conversation topic now than ever.
Brad Sham: Your point is an excellent one, and having said that, they're always more popular when they win. They have a different way to be measured by you who buy tickets and jerseys and products, because the Rangers and Mavericks have achieved in the last 2 years at levels never before reached or thought possible. Bottom line for me, though, Stanley, is that after more than 40 years in the market, I have trouble imagining the circumstances under which this would not be a Cowboys' town first. Just as St. Louis is a Cardinals town first, whatever the Rams and Blues do.
