I guess people are just used to this happening now????
I live within 30 minutes of the school....so tragic! My good friend's cousin was the first kid pronounced dead
so sad and what is worse is when I told people in class this morning the response was oh really......hmmmm *shrug*
why would you say that?
because I started the thread at 9 am yesterday and nobody posted in it all day, just thought it was strange
Chardon is only 10 miles from where I live.
Very nice small town...can't believe it happened there.
2nd kid died last night...the guy who was dating the shooters Ex-Girlfriend
I was not around much of the day. I agree that people become immune to these incidents just as they do with all crimes that take place. Not saying that is how it should be just the way it has become sad to say
I've been keeping up with it on other sites...
Not to go off topic here. This is a terrible tragedy and my heart goes out to those involved. Sad-sad times we live in.
To go a bit OT here, I tell my friends how strange Ohio is all of the time. If you follow the news closely, do this. For the say the next 6 months, see how many crazy stories happen in Ohio over other places. You will be SHOCKED. Its like only really bad things happen in Ohio. It's terrible!
I think there is something in the water.
Dang. Tough pill to swallow.
Same could be said for Florida and a few other states if you just pay attention enough.
Just some seriously crazy and odd things that at times make you think it is a skit for a comedy show or horror movie.
Well, in Indianapolis, a lawmaker recently has adamantly refused to support a measure commemorating the 100th anniversary of the girl scouts because they are radicalized, promote the sexualizing of young girls, abortion, homosexuality and cites "feminists, lesbians or Communists" as role models.
yes, the GIRL SCOUTS. from allegations he found through "web-based research"
Exactly! You never hear bad things happening in Maryland or Maine or Rhode Island for crying out loud.
What were the last few bad stories heard from say, Oregon? How about Nebraska? Surely things like this happen in Idaho, right? Any bad stuff in Utah? I just can't put my finger on it and its starting to bother me. At first I just thought it was only coincedence, but it kept happening and happening. Now I can't ignore it, I am always checking the local of the story 1st thing.
**twilight zone music**
I bought Girl Scout cookies from my little next door neighbors kid, Twyla. She is cute as a bean and has the biggest crush on my son. It's funny because Reagan always says when she leaves...
"She sure does like to hug, huh Dad?" :laugh2:
BTW: I bought 48$ worth of Samoas and Thin Mints....omg thin mints you little minty bastids.
The man in Indy should be kicked out of office. The Girl Scouts and the Boy Scouts are both excellent organization for children.
Structure and leadership is lost in this country. Those 2 programs do a small part and I am thankful for them.
Then they should ban all sex seperated activities. As the same theory would apply to all of them. All recreational sex seperated sports.
Metro Hospital in Cleveland just announced that a 3rd student has died.
:laugh2: :laugh2: Years later he will appreciate that.
Thanks for the laugh, Nice to have a little humor and heart warming type thing in a thread with such tragedy.
ugh, this sucks, I was hoping these guys would pull through. r.i.p.
