Just heard on Sirius Radio Caldwell out as coach of the Colts.
I think Fisher would have taken this job over the Rams had it been available.
Surprised that Caldwell lasted this long after the end of the season.
Just heard spags was just their interviewing for their DC position.
Well I'm glad to see everyone didn't get a PASS because of Manning being hurt
Ya me too. He was a dead man walking pretty much from November on.
My money is on Jon Gruden.
Probably just for the fact that he would have gotten Luck and still had Manning for QBs. Hell of a problem to have.
I doubt it.
So do I.
Jim Caldwell should have been old enough to know that just because you lose your starting QB, it doesn't mean you are allowed to start 0-11
I heard the Colts are interviewing defensive coordinators. Gruden doesn't strike me as the type of guy who would want a head coaching gig where he doesn't get to hire his own assistants.
I'd actually like to see Zimmer get this gig.
Report: Colts reached out to Jeff Fisher

League sources say the Indianapolis Colts reached out to Jeff Fisher prior to firing Jim Caldwell and before Fisher accepted Rams job according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Fisher was not interested in the Colts overture.
I'd rather play the NFCW too.
Gruden wont coach anymore.
This just screams that Manning is done in Indy IMO.
Meh the best coach in the league wouldn't have done much with the awful roster the Colts have.
I don't think they're as devoid of talent as their record indicated. I think a bunch of them just mailed it once they realized Manning wasn't going to play this year.
If that's true then they may not be devoid of talent, but they sure as heck are devoid of character.
