unless he had a good look at the gun and realized it was a fake, I say this was a very stupid move, especially leaving his kids in the bank as he chased after an armed robber.
Bad things happen when good men do nothing.
Now this guy is a hero.
The guys' a hero, and it's a super-cool story, but he took a HUGE risk that he, frankly, shouldn't have taken. It's one thing to do good when the odds are good, or at least even. It's something else entirely to stop a man with a gun when you're unarmed and driving a minivan. He's lucky his boys didn't hear him get shot.
That said, the balls on that guy are unreal. He wasn't even phased in the video. It's very cool.
The man should be rewarded financially.
Quoted for undeniable truth.
He might have been able to tell it was an airsoft gun. The pistols can be exceptionally realistic once you paint over or remove the orange tip.
I get it, but why?
The guy wasnt disguised and would have been caught.
He must have been so pissed that his kids werent put in danger that he wanted instant justice
If being threatened by a man with a gun isn't considered being put in danger, then what is?
Typo. Read werent as were and it makes more sense
I watched it again, and couldn't help but remember the Dave Chappelle skit where the cops come to his house and think he's the perpetrator.
"Well, we got the attempted thief. Good work Officer Rookie."
"Thank you sir, but you need to see the security camera footage. It appears that the white dude was the one with the gun."
"Amazing. He was able to commit the robbery and still had time to switch out the security tapes at the same time. Obviously this guy is repeat offender. Just look at his arms, no doubt from working out in the prison yard. Great job rookie, we took a career criminal off the streets."
"Sir? The white dude has a rap sheet a mile long. All of the witnesses say the guy in the car actually was the hero in this."
"Ignore them, they're hysterical. Seen it all before. Now sprinkle some crack on him and lets get some donuts."
I am pretty sure he thought something was fishy about that gun when he went after him.
Guy is still a hero
Reminded me of LL Cool J on NCIS LA.
