    I think it's safe to say that the 'ole breaking point has long since come and gone. This defense can't rush the passer, tackle, or cover. Besides that they're golden.

    I think Jerry's off-season plan of attack will be to use high draft picks and cap space and bring in big, zone-type DBs,,, then he'll dump Marinelli/Kiffen and bring in coaches who run man-to-man type schemes. Once Crawford is healed up the DL will be a "strength" and there will be no need to bring in new defensive lineman,,, Yeah, that sounds about right.

    It doesn't sound like you understood the humor I was trying to impart in saying Jerry would scrap everything in bringing different types of players and then screw it up all over again by changing coaching schemes,,,,,, or maybe I dont understand yours,,,

    Don't forget "stop anyone on 3rd down". But maybe that falls under your 1st three categories.
