    No surprises at practice

Offensive guard Derrick Dockery (tibia/knee), running back Felix Jones (ankle) and defensive end Jason Hatcher (calf) were missing from Friday's practice. None are expected to play Friday.

Montrae Holland, who was signed Tuesday, will start at left guard, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on his radio show. Tashard Choice and DeMarco Murray will split carries, according to Jones. Marcus Spears will make his third consecutive start at right end.

I want to see him out there to help get this running game going.

And to show that he's not an injury-prone player who can't hold up to the rigors of the fullback position.

I've wanted a real fullback for several years and I'm hoping that he can fit the bill.
