Rumors are he's deciding between SHSU and Baylor. Bit a surprising turn of events, he was a stud coming out of HS last year.

Not surprised. OU has a deep stable of running backs and when given the chance to shine when Whaley went out, he didn't really do anything impressive.

The Sooners were deep when the season began, but two transfers and an injury to Dominique Whaley, and they were less than average by season's end. As a fan, I'm on the bandwagon for some new recruits in that area.

Baylor is rumored? Is Brandon really willing to sit out 2 years of eligibility instead of the normal 1 to transfer to another team in-conference?

I'd love him at Baylor but probably not in his best interests anymore with Lache Seastrunk on the team, too bad his high school coaches talked him out of going to Baylor to begin with, they really did him a disservice.

Baylor doesn't make sense if he wants to transfer.

You're right it doesn't, unless he's peeved that he didn't go there as he was originally recruited, sitting for two years behind good runningbacks that will be redshirt freshmen doesn't bode well for his NFL prospects.

I'm well aware that OU is a community college with an excellent football program.:)

And notoriously poor academic standards. Their application is a coloring book.

Brandon needs to add weight and get stronger. Oklahoma is STACKED at RB w/ Finch and Whaley coming back next year. His role would again be very limited. I understand him moving on.

As another poster on our Sooner boards said..

Maybe the pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-run offense finally told him there wasn't going to be much running at Oklahoma.

Kid has some talent for sure.

I'm pretty sure that was a major factor in his decision. If he has aspirations of playing at the next level he needed to get out of Oklahoma. Their current group of offensive coordinators aren't very good at coordinating a running game.
