Philly will take Michael Brockers at #15 if they cannot trade up for Cox.

So if Brockers gets past Dallas, Philly will take him at #15.

Have heard Philly is high on Brockers, was kind of hoping we were playing a bit of chess with them and that Philly would move up with Arizona or a little further to secure him and that our interest was simply a ploy.

I would officially celebrate if the Eagles took him.

Me too. Would love for them to spend an extra pick to move up and get someone ahead of us that we don't really want...and I hope we don't want Brockers at #14.

Philly was dreadful against the run last year, so it definitely makes sense to draft a solid run stuffer with tons of potential.

Brockers said in a couple of interviews on ESPN a few days ago about how he's been working with the Eagles D-line coach on pass rushing.

One can only hope. If they wasted two picks on this guy it would be friggin' awesome.

My guess is that he was doing it while on an official visit to Philly, and you are allowed to work them out as long as they are one of your designated official visits.

And if it were illegal, you can bet John Mara would be on the phone trying to get salary cap or draft pick penalties against the Eagles. Hell, he's already got the Cowboys and the 'Skins....why not go for the hat trick. :chainsaw:

Some teams work out players during their visits to get an idea of how that player can respond to coaching and to get a look for themselves at a prospect up close in the team's environment.

Shanahan has been working with RG3 in Waco some time ago. Doesn't seem like a big deal to anyone.

Aye, that's what I figure he was referring to.

Doesn't seem like the type of DT Philly goes after typically. Not a guy I'd peg for a wide-9 defense.

Unlike others, I think he'll be a great DL. I would not be happy about him ending up in Philly.

I doubt it is what it sounds.

Probably something league approved. Workout probably or maybe at the combine.

I doubt he's been coming to Philly for extra sessions.
