Wow, there's a name I haven't heard in years.
Wait, you mean he's still on our team? Could have fooled me.
Even sadder, I thought he would compliment Ellis well...
I thought the same about Ebenezer Ekuban.
Ekuban is from the DC area so I was hoping he would work out. Not a complete bust, but yeah....
Well he isn't our player anymore .
I know that.
I'm talking about his career moving forward.
I'm not that myopic.
A. Ware needs to be released, for what he is being paid you could get 2 or 3 solid guys in FA.
B. Spencer is done, micro fracture surgery is no joke. Very few athletes make it back to their old selves after having it, in fact most are never the same.
C. Trade Murray if you get a decent offer (3rd to 4th round) because he is gone after this season. You don't give RBs that cant stay healthy second contracts.
yeah 012. The Giants game. I am still suspicious that the Giants had scouted or had some info on Costa's back because of the 2 massive DT's they were starting in that game. I don't blame them if they did I'd do the same thing. But Cook came in just 5-6 days before that and was the starting center for the Dallas Cowboys 3 plays into the first game and done a nice job helping get the win. Not much of a cancellation prize on the season but it should make him a nice story to tell his grand kids someday.
Ex Dallas players still go to VR and workout. But spencer is still a cowboy until next month.
No way you trade Murray. He is just getting good and is solid in the passing game, something rookies really struggle with. I wouldn't give huge money next year, but I would try to keep him.
I wouldnt trade Murray because this is the same braintrust that thought slow, non-athletic, no-moves Randle was worthy of a 5th round pick. If you want any chance of winning next season then you simply deal with Murray after next season. Tanner? Randle? Dunbar? No. NOPE. No.
Losing Nagy was the best thing that happened to that line, but yes, it was definitely not the ideal situation.
As for trading Murray, you do it since you know RB's don't have long shelf lives and we barely use the guy anyway. You just have to be okay with the fact that wherever he goes, he's probably going to be a monster.
Well, Nagy had a significant injury after he went to DET, didn't he? I can't remember clearly.
I'd trade Murray for the right pick, and not worry about it afterward. I'm not sure how monstrous he'd be with the niggling injuries, but he's definitely a guy who can produce when he can get into the lineup. I like him a lot, but I don't think we're looking to extend him in any scenario, so moving-on it is.
I never have.
He was a round peg in a square hole from the get go.
Was a light DE in college..
Was a slow developi player converting to OLBer in the 3-4..
had ONE year in 2012 where he actually played anywhere close to expectations..
..and now hes injured and making another change in scheme..
he's not a fit.
Let's just please move on.
Tanner needs to go. He's what's wrong with this team.
