UPDATE 12 pm EST – Cornerbacks of interest (particularly for the Cowboys)…
Today is a big day for a number of defensive backs, primarily Patrick Peterson and Prince Amukamara. Prior to the Senior Bowl, TFY reported that the Dallas Cowboys covet the junior cornerback fron LSU. Word from a separate source prior to the combine is Dallas does indeed have Peterson ranked as the top overall player in the draft.

It was a good showing for a number of cornerbacks on tuesday starting with Prince Amukamara. The Nebraska senior answered questions about his speed by running under 4.4 seconds and looking terrific in drills. Chris Culliver of South Carolina also ran well, under 4.4, and distinguished himself in drills. Curtis Brown of Texas and Brandon Burton of Utah also looked good. Ahmad Black was terrible running slow and struggling in drills. Kendric Burney of North Carolina also struggled to get under 4.7 seconds in the 40-yard dash.

The talking parrots at Valley Ranch never cease to amaze me.

I have no problem with Peterson being ranked in the top 5 or way up there, but does the world really need to know?

Who else operates like that? It's March 1, and everyone knows who Dallas wants.

Curtis Brown and Brandon Burton appear to have really helped themself.
