Bruce Carter and Sean Lee showed me that there's something to drafting LB's in the second round.
1. This team didn't "quit" in a single game this season. They were clearly under-talented by the end of the year, and they fought to the very end in every single game. That's more than I can say for a lot of the teams they've fielded in the last decade.
2. The next time you see the Dallas Cowboys defense it will feature Sean Lee, Bruce Carter, and Barry Church instead of Dan Connor, Ernie Sims, and Eric Frampton.
This team only seems to compete when they're down.
A lot of player I'm impressed with.
But the general direction of the team unfortunately does not inspire me.
Matt Johnson was going to be healthy enough to practice next week.
Don't worry, he's going to be All-Pro once he suits up in 2016.
I kid, I kid as this is the positive thread. I hope he can actually play unlike Justin Beriault. Not counting on it, though.
With our injuries, I thought we'd finish around 6-10 or 7-9 most likely.
The injuries really hurt. I've never seen a Cowboys team hit by so many injuries in one season.
And we still need to address the OL this off-season. I think it's one of the reasons we continue to struggle year after year.
Ogletree is one guy I really want to upgrade this off-season. He still gets confused where to line up, hot reads, routes, etc.
That's what I'm saying. How many years have we seen the same thing from Ogletree? At some point, you have to give up on the guy. Surely, this will be the last we'll have seen from Ogletree, right?
Another season ending in disappointment. Oh hell, I got nothing.
IMO, when you talk about "coach killers", it's players like Ogletree.
I don't think any QB would/could trust him. I'd bet Romo trusts Harris more than Ogletree already.
We need to get a veteran in FA who at least is QB friendly.
Alfred Morris is on my fantasy team.
Well,I guess that's positive for you.
I'm stunned that you got to 422 posts without making my ignore list.
Dallas played one game with the intended starting OL and they were really strong in that game.
They were also a top 5 defense before the injuries hit.
I guess...I'm reaching a bit but oh well.
A lot of people have forgotten this.
Positive: Pittsburg is not in the playoffs either.
Positive: One more season to flush down the toilet before the intern as headcoach experiment ends.
Loved the way people battled through injuries. Tough *** team.
At least Crennel will get fired and we can boot Ryan the the curb and hire Romeo.
Take this year minus half the injuries and we're probably 10-6. I have faith Jerry will make the right O Line moves because he did so for the secondary last year.
