About the only thing positive I can think of is that we only have to endure 1 more season of Opie and his Madden play chart before Jerry comes to his senses and hires a real HC.

I figure 1 more season of missing the playoffs should do the trick, I just hope most of our core is still playing at a high enough level for it to even matter at that point.

Here is something positive ..... we get to drink and celebrate the New Year tonight with friends and loved ones. Other than that, I've got nothing.

Yea, I really dont get upset anymore with the losses.

The entire fan base has gotten used to losing and that is what is really sad about the state of this franchise.............Apathy, the worst thing that can happen to a franchise, when your fans lose their emotional bond to your team and stop caring if you win or not.

That is what Jerry has to ask himself, how does he change this?

We've got a team that was in every single game since the bye week and never quits. That's hard to come by.

We've got a future HoF TE who can still play.

We've got a good RB in his prime.

We've got two great ILBs, one very good CB and another with a higher ceiling.

We've got a potentially great and still very young LT.

We've got a great, young WR in Dez.

And for better or worse, we've got our QB.

On edit: that was directed at everybody.

At least we lost in the regular season, saving us the agony of losing a close game in the playoffs and deceiving us into thinking this team could actually contend for a Super Bowl.

Wouldn't we play the Chiefs at home and the Raiders away? We played the Chiefs at their stadium in 2009 and played the Raiders at home.

And if I'm not mistaken, the Cowboys played the Raiders on Thanksgiving so it would likely be the Cowboys facing the Broncos for Thanksgiving Day 2013.

Based on the hysterical rage-filled incoherent posts in here already, it's clear some people have started their drinking already...

In 2005 we played the Broncos on Thanksgiving, the game went to over time and in 2009 in was the Raiders so you are probably right.

Jason Garrett earned a ton of experience and knows what it takes to be on a superbowl team. Romo contract year if they fix the obvious questions on roster w/ a few additions the team could be very dangerous in 13.
The backups played great and gave the team a chance to win. The team is on a blueprint for success in the future which drafting a young QB in near future hopefully Johnny football and both his tackles in the draft this year. Hey Cowboys ,look in your backyard theres a ton of talent!!
This is last chance saloon for Cowboys in 13! Garrett and Romo Playoffs or bust!!:starspin
