    I remember the long int for a TD he had in that game. In celebration he tried to dunk the ball over the goal post but was too gassed to get up that high. LOL. I remember it like it was yesterday.

    It was the Cowboys first ever postseason appearance. That's all I really know about it. That and we lost badly.

    First ever post-season appearance is correct.

    What was unusual was who played QB for the Colts -- it wasn't Johnny Unitas. It was RB Tom Matte and he did such a good job he was named MVP of the game!

    And pictures are great -- thanx for posting it. You can see the rare three-stripe jersey the Cowboys wore from 1964-65.
