Where you at trip? 50cent? Tunafan anyone lol
I'm here now.
OT in the first?
Ok so what is everyones idea for our #1 pick a list of a few possibilities
I like Landry FS from LSU
Cutler QB from Vanderbilt
derek hagan WR Arizona state
Well, I guess we'll try to keep this one civilized too...
But we need an OT. We have to get younger there, and better and this draft is strong on OT's.
I would love to have WR Hagen, but don't think he'll be there.
Eric Winston, Miami Fla
Jonathan Scott, TX
Marcus McNeill, Aub
The big boy D'Brickashaw will be gone, but I'm not 100% sold on him as a top 5 anyway.
I totally agree we need an OT just IMO I think as you said the draft is deep at OT which is why i think we can get a good prospect in mid 2nd.
As for hagan he probably will be gone but stranger things have happened
If we could get him and one of the top 4-5 OT's, I would be one happy dude.
I also like the WR from New Mexico a lot, Hank Baskett.
So if we took one of the tackles early, and came back with this guy, I'd be all right, too.
a WR I would really really like to get, we couldnt draft until next year at the soonest is Dwayne Jarett. get Cutler this year, jarett next, add in JJ, MB3 and Witten whew!
Is Jarrett coming out? He's an underclassman right?
What do you think of trublood or whitworth in the 2nd?
He cant come out this year that why I said next year at the soonest he will be a JR next season
I saw some BC games but don't recall watching Trueblood much.
I hope we don't take a LB in the first or second, like a lot are speculating. We should fill that in free agency IMO
What LBs are free agents that you know of? I would really like to get another strong pass rusher opposite ware Abraham woud be nice but I dont see it happening
I think Abraham, Lavar Arrington and Julian Peterson are the top 3.
I'd take any of those.
We have the money, I'd rather see them spend it on a talented young player that can finish out a 4-5 year deal, than a 30-something stop gap.
Marcus McNeill at OT in the first. an ILB like Kai Parham in the 2nd, and a FS in the 3rd.
Arrington as a pass rusher yeah, I dont care for peterson much have a friend thats a niners fan, says he doesnt make many plays, and blows alot of assignements
See ya Big D.
We'll talk draft again, I gotta get some sleep now. Didn't realize it was this late. I spent too much time ranting about Parcells, Hoffman and our kicking situation!
See ya, buddy.
haha alright trip have a good night man
we may need to draft a kicker. mason crosby or connor hughes, if we cannot get mike vanderjagt.
