From the heartland of accurate and supreme truth and logic, I bring you some realities you won't like but will have to accept as stated by Man Law 36.

The Dallas Cowboys' defense as a whole is a sham. More of a sham than Canty and Spears. More of a sham than our weak-ash secondary. More of a sham than the illusion of the MBIII-JJ tandem. More of a sham than the 4-3 defense.

We did not deserve to win yesterday. We did not even deserve to be on the same field as the puny Eagles. (They are not playoff worthy, but even this bad team can beat us.)

We do not deserve to be in the playoffs.
Save the effort for next year.
Instead of playoffs we should all be looking forward to the draft.
We need help in the secondary.
And we need a new secondary coach. One who can ADJUST.

Really and truly, we DO NOT BELONG IN THE PLAYOFFS. The Eagles proved that Monday.

They left a lump of coal in our stockings.

The secondary? No, the biggest problem on defense is the front seven. The Eagles offensive line just dominated in the running game, not to mention the non-existent Cowboys pass rush.

Um, under BP's plan, the linebackers hardly help out. they are there to stop the run after the runner passes the scrimmage line.

So, in essense, many times it is the front 3. Two DE's going the long way around to the QB and a lone guy trying to break through the middle to the QB or stop the run.

Not a practical alignment, but BP will live and die with it.
