Romo is purposefully not scoring in order to lull the rest of the league into complacency. As soon as the games are for real, he will quit holding back.

Yeah, Romo should have stopped all those fumbles himself and scored for the team. What was he thinking?? Next time, he should tackle Orton, knocking him out of the game, then go score for the team.

    Get real......................

The guy threw for 4900 yards and 28 TDs behind the worst running game in Cowboys HISTORY. HISTORY. That should tell you how bad the oline play was. Yes, Romo had 2 or 3 bad games, but he had no rushing attack and a piss poor Oline.

I don't see how anyone can dispute those facts.

From the title, I thought this was going to a good review...lol.
His stats have been very strong, actually.
The fumbles killed us, but they moved the ball well.
They missed a couple, but hit more...several nice aggressive, long plays.

Want to see truly crappy stats? Check out Eli from yesterday.

If Romo looked that bad this place would be melting down.

Read above.. i was pointing out that it was poor use of sarcasm because its so completely exaggerated.

Very few to zero people would advocate just outright cutting Tony Romo..and the stats he's using to create the thread in the first place aren't even that good.

Sarcasm is an art.. he needs more classes.

Go have a good cry about it then, Romo missing wide open WRs for gimme TD is the teams fault right?

At some point, when everyone else is telling you they caught his drift (in fact, they're surprised you didn't), isn't it fair to conclude that the problem was on your end?

I didn't know you could win an MVP in preseason either.

I wasn't the one bragging about preseason statistics.

Romo's the stat king. Nothing surprising.

Yeah, don't let all his top-five stats get in the way of a good Romo thrashing, huh?

Man, the guy hasn't even made that many mistakes this pre season (he's looked good) and he's gotten a good bashing so far. I can't imagine what it's going to be like when he makes his first interception in the regular season, all hells going to break loose. Sad, really.

I agree. I think he has looked pretty good as had some others this pre season. Right now I just want to get through this pre season with no more injuries. This upcoming game will likely see starters including Romo play a full half after that they will not see much action until they tee it up for real. As for stats pro or con they don't mean much.

Well, I'll tell you what. Our 1st team O has really not looked all that good IMO. I'm not worried just yet but we better get some things cleaned up quickly IMO.

What are you talking about? He's made two, count 'em, two mistakes this preseason! Completely unacceptable!

That's the kind of field awareness you like from your QBs. Receiver runs an out, by God, I'm going to throw it to him regardless of who else is in the area. Word of advice to this QB, defensive backs aren't likely to get hit in the face, they're likely to catch that ball and run the other way with it. Just FYI.

Pretty sure the rookie WR made the wrong adjustment, there. Can't really blame the QB.
