Yep. Maybe time to not blame the coach, but the guy giving the coach the personnel he has to work with.

Not sure why people don't like the hire. Offense did real well while he was here. Parcells recommended him for the head coaching job when he left. He obviously thought very highly of him.

Could be. Everyone assumed it was Ryan but he was still on vacation and was notified by phone.

    We did that last offseason.

    How'd that work out?

Now how about we upgrade the talent for real this time?

Houck's a very good OL coach. So is Callahan and Sparano.

None of those guys can make these stiffs any good.

Callahan is about to be fired IMO. Sparano will be the OC.

    It wouldn't surprise me.

After Rob's firing pretty much nothing will surprise me.

I think any chance of an oline talent updrade left town this week. We will see another defensive draft to fill the holes created by the change to the 4-3. I really don't think it was a priority for Jerry anyway. It would have been great if he ended the season as mad about the oline as he was the defense. I know that is a fantasy. If Jerry really wanted to fix the line, it could have been done years ago, or at least a start to fixing it. The reality of the situation is that you and me won't see the upgrades we want anytime soon.

He is a much better playcaller than Garrett. When he was here our offense was one of the best in the league.

I agree. If I remember correctly, wasn't Sparano the "running game coordinator" as well as the O Line Coach?

Our running game could use some coordination.

Considering what we started with and what we've dealt with I wonder if that blanket statement fits all situations? Do you really think that is a fair assessment since we jettisoned the deadwood a couple of years ago?

So the OL coach is responsible for the terrible players he has to coach, the injuries to the RB's and the play calling of the HC?

Jeruh looks for any excuse NOT to spend money or picks on the O line. So sadly I agree. He will go dumpster diving like this season if he does anything at all.

Yep, it's high time we blame Jerry Jones for something, he's gotten away scott free for so long.

Not when you have the least amount of rushing attempts in tram histoy. Id like to see us bring in someone fresh with no ties to the orginization like norv or sparano. If not let callahan play call or keep jg as the play caller.
