Coples is going to be a 34 DE so he looks out of place on this list, but my top 5 would be:

    E
    F
    H
    C
    G/D

    In no order

    Irvin
    Perry
    Mercilus
    Upshaw
    Ingram

Irvin and Perry intrigue me the most. The combine will be a big test for both. Perry will have to prove he has elite quick burst and agility and Irvin will have to show up with adequate size for the position.

Praire View AM's Adrian Hamilton and Houston's Sammy Brown should be on that list some where.

Both had 28 TFL (led nation), double digit sacks (Hamilton - 20 & Brown - 12.5) and almost half a dozen FF.

Both are about the same size (6'2 245) and run a 4.6 40. May run faster at their pro days.

    my question is this:

DOES anyone think ANY of these guys is a reasonable bet to do better then Spencer?

I think Perry has the most potential out of the group and could very well be better than Spencer. Ingram is probably an equal player as of right now as well. Personaly, my ideal situation would be to keep Spencer(not tagged) and draft a pure pass rusher like Irvin for obvious passing downs and when we are leading late in games.

This is good news for both Hamilton and Brown then. Because you have shown you know jack when it comes to pass rushers.
