Def believe that Bailey should be on the list.. because like Romo.. before Bailey we had a bunch of unreliable kickers that couldn't give us 3 when we needed it
thats why I appreciate Bailey like I appreciate Romo.. after Aikman and before Romo well.. we all know who the qbs were

Are we basing this on the 2013 season or careers?

Because Ware is the best player to don a Cowboy uniform -- ever.

I'm shocked nobody has Frederick or Escobar in their top 10.

    Both are Pro-bowl caliber players

They have yet to play down in the NFL yet, so that would a pretty bold statement to state that they'd be a top 10 player for us. Honestly if one of those are in our top 10 then we might be in trouble, because that would most likely mean others got hurt or didn't produce.

Is this in relation to other players at the same position? For example, if Spencer was a top 3 3-4 OLB (not sure how he'll be with the switch) and Romo was a top 8 QB, then Spencer is "better" than Romo. And a guy like Smith, who plays the 2nd most valuable/important position, isn't necessarily that dominant compared to other LTs.

Guys who are arguably top 10 at their position:
    Bailey
    Romo
    Ware
    Spencer
    Lee
    Carter
    Bryant
    Witten

    and borderline top 10:
    Carr
    Hatcher

Escobar? That's not a name I was expecting to see in this thread.

IMO, too much love for Ware and Hatcher. Ware is on the decline. I think Spencer has more of an impact in all facets of the game.

Asanine, Ware is an all time great player. All the other great pass rushers were not even close to done at age 30. He's got 4-5 seasons left at a high level.

Ware will be back to his old self come September.

If I'm considering potential, I include T. Smith and Mo . If I'm basing it only on performance so far my list looks like this (in no particular order)
    Romo
    Ware
    Witten
    Bryant
    Bailey
    Spencer
    Ratliff (if not injured)
    Lee
    Carter
    Carr
