Trade Down!

    I've always believed that 1st rounders should not be used on LB, OL, FB, TE or S. They should be reserved for QB, RB, WR, DL and maybe CB.
    These are the positions of maximum impact where stars really matter.
    Oline and defensive secondary in particular are only as strong as its weaest linc.

    What's interesting about us is that are 3 biggest needs are OL, OLB, FS.
    Since it could be argued for days the order of these needs as well as the importance of youth at NT and WR, why not try to address as many of these needs with a first day selection as possible.

    I would prefer we trade out of the first round completely with multiple trades. Going off the value chart I believe we could end up with the following:

    2nd(35), 3rd(67), 3rd(92)

    This would give us 5 pics in the 2nd and 3rd round to address all of these needs with a quality section.

    I could live with getting those 3 picks.

    Though I want Lawson-Allen which might be tough to do with a 2-2-3-3-3

    Who knows, we're not the ones picking.
