Dqwell Jackson ( linebacker from the U of md) and Vernon Davis (tight end from the U of md) were named to the All American team this week.

We would be extremely fortunate to be able to draft either one of them- although I think they will be available in the 20s.

WHy do you think we need another TE? I'd rather get the LB from Alabama

havent seen dqwell yet, but why would we need a TE inthe 1st rd? We don't even throw to Witten enough as it is.

If TE is the best player than some would believe we have an obligation to take that player and let the chips fall where they may- just ask San Diego ( Rivers), Buffalo (Mcgahee), Detroit (Roy Williams) etc

Detroit has drafted like that the last couple of years and it has totally screwed them over. Drafting the best player on the board and not what you need will undo entire franchises.

Carlos Rogers and Roy Williams were cant miss stud wrs coming out of college- the only pick that was questionable was Mike Williams- some were concerned with his ability to seperate due to speed concerns
