I hear one of those times was taken by his mother and the other was Les Miles. :laugh2:

I'll let you figure out which was which.

12 ints in 3 season he seemed to know where the ball was going and managed to get there in time to make the plays.

So that means we can trade back twice for him, right?

Horrible start on his second run...

4.54 is more than enough speed for Barron

In this case I'm surprised they did not let him run a 3rd time unless he opted out.

Scenario #2 is injury after the first run which we would of heard about.

In this case the scouting community is friendly and will simply average out the 2 times to get a base line.....4.63

Now I'm not so friendly, IMO if he's that spent after one attempt I'm taking his 4.73 and saying that's what your getting. Needless to say there a bunch of small school prospects who don't like the reports I turn in but for me, consistency is key.

By the way Sdogo, remember a bunch of players that didnt get invited to the combine, went to another place for combine stuff. Any player we might be interested in that excelled at that other combine invite?

NFL Super Regional Combine Invite. Hardly anyone knew about this big Albany QB one month ago. But after dominating the NJ Regional Combine (and advancing to the Detroit Super Regional), the Fordham Pro Day and the Rutgers Pro Day, there is serious interest from at least 8 NFL teams.

    From gbnreport.com,

    March 29
(11:15 AM): Early numbers from Tide workout ... The early, unofficial numbers from the Alabama workout today include 40 times in the low 4.5 range for RB Trent Richardson, 4.55 for Mark Barron and something in the low 4.8 range for OLB Courtney Upshaw. Given the rule of thumb that hand-timed, pro day numbers can be as much as a tenth lower than comparable numbers from the combine, none of these times can be considered more than average. In fact, Upshaw's time is somewhat slow for an edge rusher.
