I feel for the guy he has worked hard to get ready and now his season is done.
It will just take longer for us to learn that he's another bust.
Me too. Mostly I hate that our O-line depth already has a glitch.
I agree. My hope is Holland can come in to camp in good shape and backup at the guard spot as for OT I have not given up on McQ and Free to be able to fill in if need be. I'm also interested in seeing the rookie out of Notre Dame
Turkovich. No doubt Brewster is a bit of a setback heading into camp. I would also not rule out Dallas looking at the Waiver wire as teams are forced to cut down to the final 53.
I am still bitter that we drafted only one offensive lineman in twelve choices.
Now, even that is gone. More of the same on the OL.
We could have used more red-shirts.
Bob - "Nobody likes you"
Fuzzy - "Not listening, Not listening!"
Me too, I was hoping that we could have signed some more OL, with all those pick.
You know, as much as I like the kids we did Draft, I have to agree with you here. I don't think any of my Mocks had less than 3 OL in them. It was the one area I really felt we needed serious help, depth, and attitude. 4 LBs seems a lot to me even though I like each of them for my own reasons.
Like Brewsters agent said I do think something positive can come out of this. Most likely he wasnt going to play anyway and now he can learn the position and see what it takes to be a NFL lineman. Trying to stay positive. :starspin
It leads me to believe there's some confidence in Free and McQuistan. To be honest, we really haven't seen them play much and when we have they've played just fine, so I don't know why there's a general lack of confidence among the fanbase in these two.
As for guard, I can see why they think we have plenty of depth -- not many teams have four starting quality guards on their team.
No one from the staff said much positive about either player though. Perhaps that is just Houck's way, but we heard positives from Sparano in 2007 about both. Even before that, McQuistin was getting a huge amount of praise from Coach Parcells as a rookie.
I know there's a lot of confidence in Free. Supposedly he is an absolute diamond in the rough.
I'm just bitter about Proctor getting a tender at all. I think he sucked. He made Torrin Tucker look palatable.
Can't break up the band. Sorry.
We'll be sorrier if we ever have to use him in a game again.
Couldn't he flip burgers and be in the band?
I'm sure Smashburgers is hiring.
Cory Proctologist gets a roster spot every year because of injury.O and Free Reign. What an appropriate name for the band with him in it.lol.
See, he has options.
If Kosier can't return to form, we're thin at OG, no doubt about it.
Nonsense. We have Holland who could eat himself out of a job, Cory Proctor and a couple of undrafted free agents. We are in great shape.
Well, that is one less person for Holley to beat out.....
