    I remember it like it was yesterday. I actually wanted Sterling or Tim Brown. Sterling was pretty good until his injury.

    I remember after they showed Micheal's clip on TV, then they showed how reserve Ken Norton's day was.

    Wow, Jim Berry might have aged 5 years since then. Still does sports down here in Miami. Irvin never lacked for confidence. I hate the hurricanes with a passion ,but the man always came thru in the biggest games.

    I remember that day as well. The day before the draft in the Friday edition of USA Today they quoted Kiper saying that Irvin "could slip to Dallas at 11 and if he did it would be the steal of the century".

    I was so happy the pick was Irvin because he was a dominant WR and he was the heart and soul of those great Miami teams.

    I also recall Rozelle coughing right as he announced the pick and actually said "Marshall Irvin". :)
