    Thanks Theebs.

Very nice play by the rookie. He really got up high to block it. Good hustle.

The most impressive thing to me on that block was that he did not lay out and dive to make the block. He went up high over someone blocking him. I have not seen anything like that on a punt block in a long time. That means he got there extremely fast.

    Thanks,

You know your having a bad game when a blocked kick goes right back to the kicker and the other team turns a negative play into a positive one. :banghead:

    Nice hustle.

This is what i like about our young players. JJ did a great job picking him up in the 4th a la Barber

Now had that been a field goal attempt, and it was blocked, wouldn't it have still been Dallas ball even if he had picked it up and run for it?

Not if he gets it behind the line of scrimmage and then proceeds to run for a first down.

My questions are: "Would McBriar have know to pick the ball up and run w/ it? Would he have run w/ it? or would he have tried to 'throw a pass'?" W/ Bruce Read as coach, I doubt it...

I hope the punt return team got chewed out for their lack of recognition on that Denver punt. Great play by Choice, though.

Looked like they were in some form of a return set so its kind of hard to get mad at them.

I was there, nobody looked to see if the ball was kicked, they did have a return set up...The punter had a 1st down before we even realized he was running with the ball...
