Yep, because we "totally" know that even the "safe" picks won't bust....right?

No but there is much higher probability that Dontari Poe will bust rather than boom.

I haven't liked his recent drafts. He hasn't changed the Ronnell Lewis pick in awhile, or the Janzen Jackson pick.

I'll use his site to see where some players are slotted because he does a good job of keeping up with it, but I don't put much stock in it.

Every single player taken has high bust potential. Except the guard in the 5th round.

I'm not against taking a big risk on a player, but taking big risks on 5 players in the first 4 rounds is not very sound.

He lets his anti-cowboy bias affect his mock draft picks.

He bases his pick off need and still thinks we will spend a high pick on a edge rusher instead of offensive line (like Zeitler who he has going after our 2nd round pick).

Yeah, you can't force a draft like that. BPA should be the way in most cases.

oh yeah? why? because the scouting community think otherwise, hence he's a top 20 guy out of 250 that are drafted. They see him as the 20th least likely to bust.

I reviewed the website this morning and I don't think Jerry will pass on Coples.

Hmmm, no! Because his tape shows he doesn't show up and spends too much time on the floor. He did well at the combine, that's it. I'd rather a good football player than a guy who runs fast.

But let's take a time out here...what you're saying is that the scouting community is always right. You're saying they don't take risks with their picks and the picks are all safe, guaranteed bets. So, just for clarity. You believe every player within the top 20, let's say for the past 20 years, has always been a starter and made a difference on their team. That's interesting.

    I beg to differ.

Yea, I think I'd rather have Coples than Poe myself. I can't believe how far he's fallen in some people's eye.

And I know the kid's a punk, but I kinda like the Janzen Jackson pick in the the 5th.

    Poe at 14 would suck.

He is a workout warrior as the combine showed, but go back and watch some of his games and he totally disappears (even against obvious lesser talented opponents).

Thats a huge warning flag for me.

How can a player named Poe go anywhere but the Baltimore Ravens. Fate demands it.

Then, again, Wash had a player maned Landry (Laron) and Indy had a TE named Dallas (Clark).

Poe nor Coples will be a Cowboy. Neither love football and I think that's what Garrett wants.

Barron or Cox will be the pick and I think it will be Barron. Cox goes to Carolina.
