The Bears, Seahawks, and Falcons are 4-3 teams, right?
At this point who cares? really as long as the Red headed fool is HC it wont matter, he stabbed Ryan in the back
Ray Horton would be nice but I doubt he comes here.
Sorry, id, but I cannot give Jerry the benefit of the doubt as to being sensible. His media rant and dark of the night firings scream 'off the cuff.' I will just wait and see, hope and worry that 'ego' or 'showmanship' doesn't dictate his decisions like it has all too often.
Id like to Mike Singletary come in....he would be a huge upgrade at DC
How thrilled would Garrett be to see a guy brought in who wants to be a head coach, very very soon.
Can't teams get around that by offering an Assistant Head Coach title to coordinators? If it's considered a promotion you don't have to get permission from the team he's under contract with. I think this has been done before.
Like Horton but he won't make any difference as the defensive coordinator is unless Dallas signs or drafts at least three defensive tackles that can create a consistant pass rush, something this team has lacked for awhile..
Maybe? I don't know the rules. It would be one hell of a steal.
Horton is the Arizona DC.
The Arizona Head Coach was fired.
New Head Coaches often hire their own DC.
If we are moving to a 4-3 does that take Horton out of the running?
OMG, this team with 8 defensive TD's, we would have been 10-6 easily this year..
I live in Az. There is no talk of Horton leaving as DC. New Az GM was hired from within the org. so the new GM already works with Horton.
True, but normally new head coaches coming in like to pick their own coaches and that coach could decide to part ways with Horton. It would be a stupid move because Horton is a great defensive coordinator, but you never know.
if he can finally make this a physical defense and get rid of sensabaugh then i'm all for it.
I want either Horton or Romeo Crannel...
Maybe JG has more brothers, cousins, nieces, grandmas etc....
I don't see Bradley leaving Seattle unless it's for a HC gig. He was supposed to interview in Phili, don't know if it happened or not. I met him once years ago when he was coaching at North Dakota State. Nice guy. Was recommend for the Seahawks job by Monte Kiffin.
