Finally something positive about Escobar or should I say something at all about him. I haven't heard anything about him the first 2 days of practice.

For a rookie that isnt necessarily a bad thing.

Perhaps those with a better memory can weigh in on this, but has Miles ever been a good practice player. Since he has been on the team I don't recall many cases where he got noticed for outstanding plays. I'm not talking about the kind of press Dez has been getting (he is in a class by himself), but the kind of notice Eric Rogers has gotten this week. Maybe it has happened and I just don't recall or maybe it has to do with being injured in camp the last few seasons.

If (for whatever reason) he shows up bigger in games than he demonstrates in practice, it may explain why it took Roy Williams getting hurt for him to get the opportunity to shine.

He hasn't practiced since like 2008 b/c of all the injuries haha

But early in his career, he had to have been practicing well or the team would not have felt so confident when he was given the opportunity to be a receiver. Before '09, he didnt have much playing time, so there was no reason for confidence other than what he was doing in practice.

    Great observations..

Nice to know Garrett's hands are off the offense and small, but significant changes are being made that can rectify certain issues, among them multiple screens to Murray and huddling closer to the line.

No surprised about DWare or Smiles. I also heard yesterday that DWare was kicking butt and taking names yesterday. Not worried about him. I think Smiles is beyond repair at this point. He may have a play or two left in him here or there but that's not sufficient.

Wow! Thanks for a great report and thanks again for taking the time to tell us about it. Love the observations and I like the news on Lee, Wilber, OScan, and the OL. Not so much on Miles but he'll be ok. MORE! And PICS!

Appreciate the observations. It's nice to hear that the offense is picking up the pace at which they huddle, get set, and snap the ball. I like the sense of urgency.

Encouraged to read about the OL. There seriously is not one area that scares me with the Cowboys but the OL. Not even worried about DL. The 4-3 is way different that the 3-4. As long as you have Ware, spencer and Carter running all over the field with Lee roaming the middle. I think youre fine. And if Hatcher can keep the tempo he had at the end of the yr. This DL wont miss Ratliff or Crawford. I hope they go after Okoye tho. IMO he could replace Ratliff all together.

The secondary just seems to be a nice unit. Will Allen IMo has already won the other S spot opposite Church. Carr, Mo, Church and Allen are a solid group. Add in Scandrick, Johnson, Wilcox, Webb, Moore this group is deep.

    Nice write up, DD.

Sounds like our o-line dominated our second-team d-line. LOL

I'm worried about Miles. Is his heart still in this? Hopefully, he's just a little dead-legged, or he's trying to manage those hamstrings of his.
