Don't win a playoff game for over 20 years? We are already halfway there....
buiding a franchise takes time
see, there you go lol
Man, that was a downer.
well....that would really suck
no, we'll win a playoff game next year, then most likely lose in the Division playoffs/NFC Championship.
Don't get depressed, we're almost there.
Nah. We win a playoff game after next season.
OH OH I want my crystal ball
Wouldnt bother me too much... haha.
Jan. 26, 1992.
Hey thats not fair.
As long as Parcells is here we have a chance at this.
Are you talking about we have a shot at winning a playoff game or we have a shot at breaking Seattle's record with Parcells here?
look whos talking
My pride couldn't take NOT winning in that long of a time frame. I believe the Cowboys set themselves back though by signing all these old players (Bledsoe, Rivera, K. Johnson, Ferguson etc.) instead of drafting young talent.
Gee thanks...as if i wasnt depressed enough.
2004 - 6-10 record
2005 - 9-7 record
I'd call that progress.
I wonder if you feel the same way about kickers?
That wouldn't be good no.
Talking about having your cake and eating it too ...stop it, would yas?
You're playing my song hea...(r)! Let me get this right ...I'm hearing your fans concerned about making a playoff game (not winning the NFC), and you already have five -- count em -- five Superbowl Championships!
1) There's no credence in making the playoffs; and not having higher aspirations, or being content simply making the playoffs ...
2) Trade with yas (you).
3) Think about it ...does this question posed, really sounds like it came from a team considered having a dynasty.
Go ahead fire at will, but remember this ...I know my team hasn't made one
Superbowl Championship (NFL Championship, yes; but many of you will not recognize that accomplishment). But you'll not here one peep about it from me ...I have total faith in the Eagles winning their 1st SB soon!
Bottom Line ...buck up! If I had originated this thread -- it would have been titled ... Growing Pains are Over -- Eagles (interchangeable team name; obviously this is my preferenced team name) make playoffs and win the NFC East in bid for Superbowl Championship in 2006!
Your season was not anywhere near as disappointing as ours.
