As the third string Tight end behind Hanna and Witten im not projecting him to do anything. So at least theres plenty of upward mobility there.

Seem to me that the Cowboys have been pretty good at drafting and developing TEs. Or the Cowboys have a very friendly TE offense. Both Bennett and Fasano are still in the league. Didn't the team also help develop Scott Chandler? Phillips was pretty good and showing something until the torn ACL. Witten - no more needs to be said. The other 3 TEs are looking pretty good so far: Hanna, Rosario and Escobar. Even Smith has shown promise.

Even Wade Phillips tweeted that the Cowboys look to be pretty good at TE a few days ago.:)

Some positions the Cowboys just have looked good for so long throughout their history it is a huge surprise if they don't. WR, RB, QB and TE.

I trust the Cowboys know a thing or two about TE and they just seem to have a special eye for talent at the position.

One more thing about the Escobar pick, remember the panic that set in when Witten injured his spleen in the preseason last year. That may have been a big factor to have another TE who can catch. Hanna is still a relative unknown.
