Why is Aikman wearing #9 in this picture?

    Was Young at the same probowl and wasnt he #8?

    Yeah that must be the reason. I think nowadays they let multiple players wear the same # on a Pro Bowl squad.

    I can't see the picture, but if it's a Pro Bowl jersey, then yes. When players wear the same number, the player with more Pro Bowl appearances, aka seniority, get first number choice. Young gets #8 and Aikman has to one-up Young and get #9 (bad pun).
