In Google use In the search text box type: "site:cowboyszone.com (search term)"

This will only search cowboyszone.com with your search term.

Because most forum search sucks and it taxes the hell out of the system. Google exists and it's faster and better than any forum search. I would recommend using it. I do it for all forum sites. Even ones that have built in search.

The reason that I don't have search enabled is because it impacts the site performance considerably, especially during busy periods and since most people performing searches are mainly doing it to point out something someone said in an argument, I don't feel the performance impact that ALL users would incur is justified when Google makes it very easy to search this site. Searching the site via Google is MUCH faster and produces better results in most cases than the horrible built-in search. In fact, the built-in search is so bad, the forum software maker actually sells a third-party add-on using an external search system, but Google is still better than it.
