Everyone assumed Peterson was a much better athlete..both are the same height..6 feet tall..Peterson is much heavier at 219 vs 206 for Prince...

    Peterson..4.32
    Prince 4..37

    Peterson 10'6 broad jump
    Prince 10'8

    Peterson 38 inch vertical
    Prince 38 inch vertical

    Isnt Princes tape better?

    equally athletic..at least it appears

no way Princ tape is better.
Peterson is far more physical and alot heavier and stronger.
    Peterson can press any WR.
Peterson also played great vs Julio Jones and A.J. Green as Prince looked awful vs top WR (Blackmon)

Peterson is more aggressive. Best CB I have seen in a long time.

I like Prince just fine though.

This. Watch the game film. The combine is like when you go to the doctor and they take your vital signs before your appointment.

If ur just talking physical..........moving 10 more pounds is alot. You don't belive me run a 40 and all the drills then add 10lbs my friend and u will see the difference

Now if u reefer to pure cornerback skill its not even debatable

I like both players, but one thing I do ding Prince on is the fact he has somewhat abnormally short arms and small hands.

Now that the kid has been officially measured at 6'0" flat (I was wrong, I would have wagered he'd be closer to high 5'10ish or low 5'11ish), he only sports 30.5" arms and 8 1/2" hands.

By comparison, here are the measurements of some of the other "top" CBs that have been talked about:

    P. Peterson 32" arms, 9 1/4" hands
    Jimmy Smith 32 1/4", 9 3/4" hands
    Aaron Williams 31 1/2", 9 1/4" hands

    *Brandon Harris 30 5/8" arms, 8 1/2" hands

(Brandon Harris is only 5'9" tall though...)

Some may say that's nitpicking, but football is a game of inches. And at a position where you are constantly extending and reaching, it could play a role.

You should be more concerned about Jimmy Smith, he's not so fluid out of his backpedal as he should. Deion actually called him a safety. He also thinks Peterson needs work in that area.

This is a good point. See Jenkins on Jackson 90 yard TD. If Jenkins tips that ball (he was literally a cm away from it) it's a completely different game.

Very impressed with Prince Amukamara's 40 time, and I was wrong about him looking like a high 4.4 guy. He is a little stiff, but teams already knew that. Amukamuara is a high character guy who I heard compared to Vonte Davis. I still wouldn't draft him at 9 and build my team that way, but that is me.

Did he say anything about Prince? I can't stand Deion most of the time, but he does know what he's talking about with CBs.

Not at the time I caught this, he just mentioned that Peterson needed work there but didn't do anything to hurt his position. But that Smith didn't do enough to improve his and "accidentally" called him a safety. I'll be looking through my recordings to see what he said on Prince sometime.

After Prince's first 40, he did say that corners come in all shapes and sizes and this guy looks like a physical specimen.

Second 40, he said he couldn't wait to see him in drills and that he wanted to see how loose his hips were.

They said Prince reminded them of Vonte Davis.
