    The league really screwed us with that "25 untouchable players" provision, not to mention no draft. That would never happen today.

    I know for each expansion draft since 1960, each existing team was allowed to protect a certain number of "reserved" players, but I don't know if the percentage of "untouchables" has gone up or down since the 1960 expansion draft.

    And of course, every expansion team since Dallas has had the benefit of a college draft (Carolina & Jacksonville actually got two picks each in every round of the '95 college draft -- that might've been TOO much as it hasn't happened since).
