What kind of “weapon” is Dez? What “weaponry” does he bring to the offense?

I’m interested in what you think he can do that almost any other WR cant do at least as well, if not better.
One thing is being able to uncover once the QB scrambles.

Beasley was also good at it but of course he left disgruntled.

Dez has a place on the team IF healthy.

These snips of video showing not much tell us something is still missing with this whole Dez revival.

Dez Bryant would be an outstanding WR in a backup role ....... He has already said he does not want to be the focus, to just find himself a role. There is not a safety or 3rd corner who could win against him on a regular basis if he is anywhere close to what he was his last year here.

Being honest.....Sean Lee was probably our best LB last year. It kind of sucks but if its not true then its closer than I am comfortable admitting.

I'd argue that he was as well. Certainly worth the $3.5 million in salary they paid him. I'd want him back at that price, especially considering the instability otherwise.

Maybe but Lee aint worth $7-8m as a part time player.
He's aware of that. Remember he offered the Cowboys to have his pay cut last March from $7 to $3,500 million to make room for "the younger guys".

He also stated he didn't deserve the full pay due to being out on injuries. He's a stand up guy and not all about the mighty dollar bill. Greed is the last thing you'll see from Lee unlike some who are just about themselves.

As I've continued to say, those that are completely against him getting an opportunity are doing so for personal reasons, not tangible statistics and numbers. And that's fine, I just don't want to see anybody trying to confuse one with the other.

He was healthy and available for all 16 games.

Geez dude, how much more **** do you need to make up or ignore in order to grind your ax?
Hes average at best and gonna be 35. He missed a ton of tackles last season. Move on. From him, dez, witten, ty craw.

Ok fine i say we keep snake as long as dez comes back and they fight it out on camera

I won’t argue about the money but Lee actually had a decent year last season, his best in awhile. He was healthy and was very useful once LVE went down.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Lee taking a step back and being a 4th linebacker as his spot on the team but he can still contribute as his performance last year demonstrated.

He’s at the end though so they need to plan for that.

He was the best linebacker on the team last year. If he's "average at best", the rest are worse. Be sure to "move on" from them as well. Be consistent.

For the right role, at the right money, I'm not opposed to all of them returning.

If Dez can play at all he is worth giving a shot. The guy has great hands and made some great plays and his career was completely wasted under Garrett's incompetence.
I think I could find a spot for him if I was coaching.

Dez would be good in the red zone and Hail Mary jump balls...that’s about it
