Is Dak Prescott now a top 5... ...top 10..... or among the top 15 QBs in the NFL ?
After his best statistical passing season last year in 2019, (in helping Cowboys rank as best offense in total yards).. where now would you rank Prescott among the top QBs in NFL ?

Here's my list below in how I see the Top QBs and where I'd place Prescott now:

1 Pat Mahomes KC

2 Aaron Rodgers GB

3 Lamar Jackson Balt

4 Russell Wilson Sea

5 Tom Brady NE

6 Drew Brees NO

7 Deshaun Watson Hou

8 Carlson Wentz Phil

9 Dak Prescott Dall

10 Kirk Cousins Minn

11 Matthew Stafford Det

12 Kyle Murray Ariz

13 Matt Ryan ATL

14 Jared Goff Rams

15 Jimmy Garoppolo SF

Stafford was on fire before he got hurt and Kirk Cousins has been playing better than Dak in Minnesota. I would drop Carson Wentz...a lot. I don't see why people like him as much as they do. He doesn't seem like anything special to me and he is consistently injured.

The only stat that matters is 8-8. Dak ran up personal passing stats in blow out losses and with help from OC Kellen Moore trying to help him earn a monster new contract. Look at pass attempts for Dak:

2016: 459 pass attempts Cowboys record 13-3

2017: 490 pass attempts Cowboys record 9-7

2018: 526 pass attempts Cowboys record 10-6

2019: 596 pass attempts Cowboys record 8-8

Sorry but Dak is not a Top 10 NFL QB and should not be paid anywhere near that group simply because he statistically had 1 good season yet saw his team go 8-8 and miss the playoffs.

Top 10 QB lists aren't what they used to be.

And I feel like when people say "don't pay Dak" or "Dak's not top 10" they're comparing Dak to expectations of yesteryear... back when we were debating whether or not Romo was 6th or 7th best in the game.

While I may still go back and forth with Dak vs Wentz, Carlson plays and perseveres through some average WRs, there is no Cooper as his lead WR, he doesn't have a super star RB, he's pushed through his own injuries and he rallied his team to get in position to win the NFC east title from us,
unfortunately played big vs us in the most critical game that led to deciding who into the playoffs, ..and who stays home.

In short, I think he's had less than what Dak has had in supporting cast and still manages to somehow keep his team alive in the hunt.
Agree with the injury concern. If he'd not sustain the concussion vs Seattle, I thought Philly would have beaten Seattle.

This is where I'm at too. I give Dak grief, but there isn't that much great QB play around compared to the last decade.
Mahomes, Rodgers, Wilson, are at different passing levels.

Jackson, Cousins-Stafford, Brees-Brady (unknown bc of age), Watson, Dak.

Maybe Wentz, but would take Dak over him and Jimmy G/Carr.

Brady, Brees, and Rivers declining leaves a hole in good QB play.

That puts Dak right around 10th.
