We have nothing that Cincy would want. I think there is only one team that has the assets and that is Miami. Period end of discussion. If this is true they are trying to bait Miami to give up a bunch of assets.

Yeah.. I don't think we could get it done.

If you could convince them to take Dak, Zeke, and a 1 but I don't think even that would get it done.

Getting rid of those 2 bad contracts and acquiring Burrow could really get us going back in the right direction with our team building.

I think that if they do trade the pick, it will be to the Dolphins. They have the ammo, and word is the love for Burrow.

what team has more trade picks ammo to make such a bid on No.1 overall pick for Burrows? Dolphins or Radas ?
Don't the radas have multiple extra high picks in their first two rounds ?

Only other thing I had to think about is a once rumor that had it as Gruden prefers the veteran QB over rookie ones.
But that could be more just someone's speculation and viewpoint though (based on how Chuckie really dogged out Chris Simms in his Bucs dayz)

Dolphins have 5 first round picks and 4 2nd round picks combined for 2020 and 2021 currently.

If they were dumb enough, they can beat out any team pick wise.

If I'm Cincy, I'm looking at moving down twice. Load up on 1's and 2's the few years. Having the first overall pick this year isn't helping them to beat the Ravens any time soon.

Unless they draft Chase Young and he knocks the snot out of Lamar. :muttley:

I liked Burrow at Ohio State, but they went with the other QB's, and understandable.
I liked he transferred and got his chance.
But if he wants to pull an Eli and refuse to play for a team, screw him, I wish him no luck. Unless for some reason, which will not happen, he ends up a Dallas Cowboy.

Miami is l-o-a-d-e-d with draft picks.

But Gruden hates any quarterback that he has. He's a wannabe quarterback himself so nobody truly measures up to what he thinks he could do.

For a guy who thinks Dak is useless or overrated it’s funny how you throw out ridiculousness like this.

he sucks but he’ll draw two number ones?

:clap::clap:something isn't it.......he's average but worth TWO FIRST round picks to get rid of him (LOL).

there are many ways to blow the first pick in the draft, but none more devastating than to blow it when choosing the qb of the future. if you've been prewarned the guy you want doesn't want to play for you, it just might make sense to get as much value as possible for the pick and seek another venue to get better.

This reminds me of the 2004 Draft where QB Eli Manning was drafted #1 overall by the Chargers, but 3 picks later, they traded Eli to the Giants while the Chargers then used the Giants' traded #4 overall pick to draft QB Phillip Rivers. Funny but the same thing is probably going to happen once again 16 years later.

that was a prearranged deal assuming picks 2 and 3 didn't screw up the works. when they didn't, the deal was consummated. both got great qb's.

Keep an eye on the Lions at the 3rd spot.......IF this true, I think it has just as much to do teams wanting Chase Young as Burrow. My guess they're not willing to trade out of top 5.......this way they could pick up an extra 1st or more and still have shot at either Burrow OR Tua. It's why I've saying Young to Skins isn't a slam dunk at all.....

We have his rights due to the Franchise tag that has been reported that they will use.

He could refuse to sign it a la Clowney in the short term while working out a long term deal.
Especially if he doesn't want to go to Cinncy lol

Cowboys get the cap hit hold while being unable to trade him.

practice what you preach as you don't know what i think of dak really you can just speculate. Ill help you out though.I just dont believe hes our biggest issue in fact hes down the line. Now do i think hes worth 40 mil no but its not my money and i don't give a ****

I also dont believe paying him between 33-35 is going to hancuff this franchise. some of you guys want so badly to replace a guy who has won 2 division titles in 4 years led the league in passing and has improved every year. Oh and your teams GM has said over and over hes the guy but carry on with the nonsense jabber its rather amusing
Emotions and how it leads you people to make yourselves look dumb. How can I practice what I preach when I said it seems you did aka just speculate? I didn't make any definitive statements sir. Again emotions and lack of reading with understanding will do that to a person. I so badly want to replace a guy who I don't think is any better than. Alex Smith. Yep guilty as charged and I don't use silliness like he won 2 division titles as my reasoning for keeping him. He hasn't improved every year unless you're a fantasy player. Yeah the teams GM said a lot of things but is he signed as of today? If he's not I don't care what he said because actions speak louder than words but I guess you're one of those people that believe anything a person says. If not mentioning what Jerry has said means nothing at this point because I don't see Dak signed as of this posting.

The Bengals didn't advance in the playoffs, but they went to the playoffs quite often during the last decade.

Yeah.. I'd call his bluff. He's not going to sit out a year and lose 30 million dollars.

That would be depressing for a young athlete that's most likely going to be the #1 pick......knowing your entire career is over before it even gets started......THEN.......if that ain't bad enough you have live in Cincinnati half the year..........if I had been a pro athlete location would play a big role in my decision.
