I thought Burrow showed some serious skills. His throws with accuracy were impressive.
I wasn't that high on Burrow when the season started, and, really didn't think much of him during the season until he played Alabama. HE beat Alabama, on the road and in a pressure situation. And then to knock off Oklahoma and Clemson with such ease. I've convinced he's the real deal. But I don't know what is going to become of his career going to Cincinnati. Carson Palmer absolutely loathed the franchise. Said they weren't committed to winning. That can take a toll on a player. My son is experiencing that now with his college team. All he has known is playing on elite, championship-caliber teams, and then to go to a school where the coaches and coaching isn't even better than your high school program and all you hear at halftime from the coaches is, "What's going on? What can you do to correct your mistakes?"
That wears on a champion-caliber player, just like it did Troy Aikman in his latter years.
