Lol. They were just 2 examples of who they could have signed. If you had any reading comprehension skills whatsoever you would know that because I also mentioned previously they could have gotten several safeties on the cheap. An example to that would be Honey Badger who had played for the Texans and then Chiefs. But the reality is there is no example that I would give that you wouldn’t do the same thing trash because you are hell bent on thinking the Cowboys made the right moves. But I at least wanted to give you the courtesy of answering your question although I knew exactly why you were doing it.
But you intentionally miss the point or you are too stupid (neither one is good) and go off on rants creating strawman arguments. You act like you understand the cap but you don’t. You are not a pocket protecting nerd, you just a little wuss afraid of the team spending some cap dollars.
Here the answer to your "they could have gotten several safeties on the cheap". Have you ever heard of the old saying of you get what you pay for? If players can be gotten for that cheap, then there are reasons that they are that cheap and certainly it's VERY questionable that they are ANY kind of improvement to what the Cowboys already had. Oh ya I do 10,000% trust professional coaches and scouts over ANY wannabe scout/GM.
When you continue with your cap knowledge you make me laugh and wonder if you really are someone in grade school or someone with just the mentality of someone in grade school that also has a drug problem. If you really think that to continue to renegotiating contracts that just puts dead money on the cap down the road leaving very little actual cap space and repeating that cycle every year you are in an EXTREMELY tiny minority that think that is the smart way to control and manage their cap.
I honestly can't decide which you are worse at. Your evaluating of players or your understanding of the cap. They're both terrible and a toss up which one is worse.
