Last I read, Miami is (rumored) to be eyeing Herbert due to the injury concerns with Tua. That was a couple of days though.
Its possible that Tua and Herbert fall outside top 10. Love and Eason could move up, never know with QBs in the draft. Injury concerns, as with Tua, could end up giving him a little fall.

Just like the Commanders were totally eyeing Daniel Jones. Never believe what teams say around draft time. Every year we get a bunch of sudden reported interest that turns out to be fake and it usually plays out the way it was expected to with the sole exception of the Raiders reaching on their 1st round pick.

Truthfully, I'd be very surprised if Herbert/Tua weren't the second QBs off of the board.

Obviously the latter because of injuries. I don't see why Herbert has anywhere to go but up from here.

Ummm..idk about that anymore. Von is from a Dallas and Myles is from Arlington (went to high school with his older brother by the way lol). I don’t know if the new generation of kids coming up want to be Cowboys anymore. Which made this Tua thing a little surprising to me. Maybe Patriots or Steelers but the Cowboys haven’t been real good for like 25 years. The guys in this draft and the draft before this draft and the draft before that one weren’t born when the Cowboys were real good.

i get what you're saying but non- texas people wanted to come here. Zeke wanted to get drafted by us, as did Ramsey. Even deshaun watson wanted to get drafted by us...although he may have just been joking lol

Yep. I mentioned a couple of days ago it looked like Tua may be that one who falls this year like Manziel. There seems to be that one who don't go where he was projected and just keeps falling when nobody knows why.

What Tua wants & where he'll end up are two different things. Caesars Sportsbook has Tua to the Bengals at 7-1 odds. That’s fourth behind the Dolphins & Lions. The Chargers are also ahead of the Bengals here. Going to be fun watching where all these kids end up.

Talented arm, kinda on the smaller side, heavy injury concerns affecting various parts of his lower body.

Do not want.

Zeke and Ramsey wanted to get drafted in the top 5. The Cowboys happened to be the best franchise in that top 5 group at the time (I also bet they both feared the Jacksonville pick after us). Idk about the Watson one.

Yeah.. It’s sounding like Detroit is willing to eat Staffords contract and draft Tua.
I'd bet they keep Stafford for one more year even if they draft Tua and give him a redshirt year. Tua even said as much(about sitting a yr) in that interview so makes me wonder if he's had that conversation with them

edit: Tbf it's possible he could have had the same convo with Dallas about sitting under Dak on the franchise tag for a year

Maybe we should make a move now before we decide to eat Dak's contract in a few years while we still have a top supporting offensive cast

Also, Tua is 6'1".
All the other top 5 QBs in the draft are 6'4" to 6'6". Fromm is 6'2".

Tua is going to be eaten alive in the NFL.

If Kyler Murray doesn’t fall on his face in the NFL then Tua is going to be more then fine.

I really don’t get why you guys think he is going to bust. He has intangibles and he is one of the more natural passers I’ve seen coming out of college. It’s instinctual for him. Like a RB with great vision.

If everything checks out health wise, I would take him and I like Dak. His skill set is better than Dak. As far intangibles (leadership, rally guys, etc) they are about the same from what I have read.

Yeah he has Dak intangibles But also has the ability to be a great thrower of the football unlike Dak.

He is also a better runner..
