Do people really believe there is a better option than Dak this year?

If you think Dak improved last year, you didn't watch the games. The team was not offensively competitive for huge swaths of the season and against just about anyone good. The only teams he looked good against were the really bad ones which is why the team was 8-8 and laid a turd in Philly in a pressure game.

How do I make the cowboys betters? I may not have all the answers but i'm pretty sure paying an average QB like he's an elite QB isn't the answer. Perhaps such a smart guy like you can enlighten us as to how increasing Dak's salary from 400k to 35 million per year is going to get Dallas to a super bowl.
He improved in some ways, but also looked really bad at times.

Gee even grade school math says 30 is an improvement over 22 or 23. Yes the QB is the most important position and here's another fact. The cost of QB salaries rise a much faster rate than any other position and those costs go up EVERY year. The constant comparing to other QB's who signed contracts in previous years when the cost for those QB's in those years was less than what the price has moved to today is foolishness. Why don't you compare what Aikman made to what the costs are today while your it. How would you like it if people that aren't even working for the same company or have anything to do with your company started to whine about you possibly getting a raise?
.

Since your such a math whiz, how many TDs did he throw in Philly with a playoff birth on the line? ZERO . Not even a TD drive.

Even if you didn't want to do the work and break down the season, that game tells you all you need to know about Dak and why he's not an elite QB. He isn't capable of greatness or even being really good in big moments.

Whose arguing against Dak getting a raise? The debate here is whether to pay him like an average starting Qb (which he is) or a top 3 starting QB. Clearly, having 3 pro bowl lineman, Zeke, and 2 1k WRs isn't enough for Dak. Paying him so much money that you can't keep the existing talent around him or add to it makes no sense for the Dallas Cowboys.

He looked really bad in the big moments. The philly game was my breaking point. Forget the turds he laid against New Orleans, NYJ, Buffalo, and NE. He couldn't lead this team to a single TD against a team he torched the previous month. What was the difference? Its a mental thing and you can't change that impulse to shrink in the big moments. Qbs like Montana and Brady weren't the most physically gifted, but they played better in the big moments when a single play can win the game. Mahomes has that quality. Wilson has it. Rodgers has it. Brees has it. Dak does not.

I know we have no better option in 2020, but for god sake don't marry the team to him for the next 5 years paying him as if he was among those guys. He doesn't deserve to be a top 5 paid Qb.

I am a therapist...I am trying to help you. based on past few posts you seem obsessed about Romo. Why? you want to expand on that?
Sure, because, like you, I'm just pulling things out of my butt. If that's good enough for to do, it should be good enough for me also, right?

Possibly. I haven't made a final conclusion on Dak for myself. I do believe that at least some of his travails are due to our horrific coaching staff. That's why I'd love to see him on a 2 year deal or so.

so you don't have an answer, yet you insist Dak is not the answer...smh….so how can you definitively answer that Dak is not the answer, but at the same time don't have an answer. seems like your agenda is to just argue not to pay dak. since you just admitted you don't have anything else....the case for Dak making $35M/year has been made in about 5043 responses on various posts....please take your time and read through.

The fact you can't see the difference between Dak and those Qbs just proves you are a moron.
aha, your shorts got tied in a knot, you blew one of the three brain cells you had and now resort to name calling....let me guess you are 14? seems like you can't back up your agenda with any facts....now you are angry

I would hate to see yours, dude. At least I am doing it on purpose. Unfortunately, you just do it naturally and apparently are unaware.
continue on that thought, we may get to the bottom of your anger, hostility, confusion and frustration. we will get your life in order son. I promise.

I know. In the fantasy land you reside in, you think you're on to something.
ok, so far we have fantasy, hostility, anger issues. the fantasy aligns with your references to Romo in previous posts. any feelings of grandeur? how was your relationship with your mother? did you have feelings of hostility toward your siblings? feeling your parents ignored you and treated them more special?

He hasn't been the answer so far and has shown few signs that he is the answer...... his best year was his rookie year. Now, there's a smart investment..

You just can't handle someone thinking you are a moron. Lets talk about that and your deep rooted need for approval.
