I see Miami BEING MIAMI lol..and doing something else ahead of San Diego. Like drafting Herbert, or trading back THEN drafting Herbert. I think the hip may scare Miami away from Tua. IN MY OPINION.. Herbert has bust written all over him. He reminds me a lot of Gabbert. I just don't like his mechanics and how he reads defenses.

Off season CRAZY talk as usual. Probably would serve some Dallas Cowboys fans right if Dak left and we get stuck with the Quincy Carters and Henson's of the world. Per as usual Jerry Jones and company bringing DRAMA once again into the equation. He makes one good move then does 2 more to destroy it. I really think it's horrible how they are handling this. And I believe it will eventually destroy the locker room if it goes on further into the Summer or if Dak sits out. Jerry could of had Dak signed a year ago for cheap. But once again Jerry has to turn something that could of been simple then. Into a major drama issue now.
What part of the 33 million a year that Dak reportedly turned down last year was cheap?

How did Jerry mess this up with offering that kind of money?

IF Wentz had did the tthese nuts would be losing themselves. Let Herbert or Burrow do it........they'd lose their minds. Dak does it and its "oh well...." and "garbage time" lol.
I do think Dak is better than Wentz, but come on brother, so many of those yards were because we were playing from behind and defenses were playing off.

You're a smart guy and I know you had to see that too. I do think he got better last year but I also think his ceiling is very near.

I do not deny that some of Dak’s yards came against either poor competition or at the end of games.

My problem with that is it’s as if Dak is the only one who benefited from that. Am I suppose to believe Dak is the only quarterback in the league that lit up poor competition and got some yards at the end of games? Every quarterback does but in order to devalue Dak people pretend like he’s the only one.

So Dak was the only QB which defenses were playing off? Cool.

Jameis Winston Jared Goff Philip Rivers Derek Carr here's 4 to start and playing from behind doesn't equal elite talent in the NFL and 8-8 doesn't with the talent level on offense. The Dak hype just astounds me when the results and costs to support Daks short comings add up to failure.

How can you say that, "we've saw his ceiling" after four years? When did you see Romo's ceiling?
I’m not emotional about it like some that’s how. Some people truly think you keep improving for forever and then just fall off the cliff but it don’t work like that. Why do you people come with this emotional mentioning Romo bs like my answer would change? Get out of your feelings because the answer is the same. 4/5 years of starting for the majority of players period are where they will be as a player for the rest of their prime career.

This is my take as well. I've been pretty vocal about moving on from Dak. But could it be coaching? Do you think Romo was average too? Either way, I'd still rather move on just to avoid the huge contract and sign our UFAs. Dallas would get another 5 years of rookie contract from their QB.
Coaching has nothing to do with actual skills imo. Garrett is a scapegoat because a lot of pro Dak people use his “record” as something to hype him up and last I checked Garrett has the same record in that time frame. Either we’re hyping that “stat” up as a positive or not. I think Romo was better than Dak as a qb but not top 5 elite. I definitely say top 10 and I see Dak a level below that. Romo had a lot of crucial turnovers and people emotions remember things like that so they think Romo some scrub. I don’t agree because I doubt Dak could ever make a Jesse Holley or Laurent Robinson type receiver look good. Heck the time we had that level of wideouts we were fast tracking to a top pick and the wideouts were low key throwing Dak under the bus. To me to be a top player you need to be able to sometimes carry the average players around you not all the time but sometimes. If you look at most top players in any sport at time they can do that but Dak rarely does. Think about it how many games since he’s been here esp since his rookie year would you say he’s carried the team on his back? There might be a game or two I’m missing so you can help me out.

Best example yet.
I’ve been said that but most will then ask who is the exact qb you can get to do that like anybody knows for sure. That’s the disingenuous logic they will use when the point is that Dak is okay but similar to Smith we can definitely do better.

You can throw in Aaron Rodgers too. He had some garbage stats that you guys like to bring up. He got dominated by the 49ers in the playoffs and threw up some "garbage stats" in the end.

Tom Brady couldn't make Jesse Holley look good. Romo did not make anyone look good. He was a very good quarterback in this league but its impossible to gauge how good you can make someone look just judging based stats. Mind you, Laurent Robinson was thought of highly prior to coming to Dallas he just couldn't stay on the field. And using your argument....did Dak make Brice Butler look good?

I don't disagree with him. But the question is who do you trade with?

1. Cincy (replacing Dalton)
2. Washington (Haskins with a new coach)?
3. Detroit (needs to replace Stafford)
4. NY Giants (maybe?)
5. Miami (not happening)
6. Chargers (replacing Rivers)
7. Carolina (replacing Newton)
8. Arizona (possible)
9 Jacksonville (Is Gardner Minshew their guy?)
10. Cleveland (maybe)

Remove 2,3,4,8, 10. Still a point well taken. No one is worth the cost of moving up.

Did he? You tell me since you hyping that up because I don’t remember anybody hyping that up. Laurent Robinson was ok let’s not cap it up.

I agree Laurent was ok. But you’re saying Romo made him like he was some star. He played up to his potential here.

Nope I didn’t say all that you made that up in your head. I’m saying Dak doesn’t really do that to other wideouts and Romo occasionally did. When Dak had Robinson level wideouts we had to trade for a first because your mans isn’t that good as a qb.

He’s definitely reached his ceiling but like I said I can’t convince folks that stay with the first girl they kiss that Dak is average so believe what you want. If this is what happens when he’s the best on offense I don’t need more of that stuff
I get it... But wasn't our offense pretty good last year?
Dak rarely has a bad game. He rarely has great games also but he seems to come in as very good on most occasions.
