Size is a valid point. But his tape is better than Mckinney’s and Delpit’s IMO.I need to watch more Winfield but early impressions have been he's overhyped.
The size, for one, scares me a bit.
His tape vs. who though? Delpit and McKinney played against some top notch teams (especially Delpit).Size is a valid point. But his tape is better than Mckinney’s and Delpit’s IMO.
Both. Delpit’s tape last year was disappointing. His tape vs. who though? Delpit and McKinney played against some top notch teams (especially Delpit).
No I’m saying who did Minnesota play that impressed you enough to take him above two SEC studs. I watched damn near every LSU game because they were pretty much on tv every week - delpit was all over the field, kid is a stud and he won the award for #1 DB in the nation, I really don’t get the knock on him.Both. I'm still holding out hope for Kinlaw, but Chaisson is my second choice.Chaisson and Winfield. I almost wouldn’t care what the rest of the draft got us
Woods had a ton of TO production in collegeDon’t fool yourselves into thinking a kid with interceptions in college translates to the pros.
There was that S from Louisville a few years ago who had double digit interceptions and spit the bit in the pros.
Winfield is going to have matchup problems IMO at being only 5-9.
He does not have long speed, boys have to decide if his above avg quickness makes it irrelevant, not so worried about the rest, he is also a project not a finished product. That being said, the guy is a real playmaker and a real ballhawk.Don’t fool yourselves into thinking a kid with interceptions in college translates to the pros.

Throwing this out there right now since I’m an Illini fan and watch Big-10 games: Winfield will be just as good if not better than Delpit. His tape vs. who though? Delpit and McKinney played against some top notch teams (especially Delpit).
Against AVERAGE competition. Winfield played good teams all season long.Woods had a ton of TO production in college
I agree. Delpit is going to be a star and Dallas has a great chance to get him. That's like passing on Derwin James at 17, in my opinionNo I’m saying who did Minnesota play that impressed you enough to take him above two SEC studs. He's also been hurt - and players who get injured in college get injured in the pros.I need to watch more Winfield but early impressions have been he's overhyped.
